Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant
Step Into Teaching are working together with a specialist school who support students from EYFS to KS5 in an environment meeting the needs of their pupils and students who have a wide range of learning disabilities, including autism, complex medical needs and sensory impairments.
The school caters for children and young people with learning disabilities, complex medical needs and sensory impairments; as well as children and young people with autism.
All through school - Blackburn BB1
£401 - £440 a week (term time only)
Full time Monday – Friday

The successful candidate must:
Hold a degree psychology or related (2:2 or above)
Able to handle challenging situations with ease and inspire and motivate
Be passionate about supporting and inspiring students to reach their full potential and achieve excellence
Be personable, flexible, proactive and able to relate to pupils positively but respect professional boundaries
Hold outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Have an inspirational and reflective mindset within the classroom
Demonstrate a commitment to promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children
