GRADUATE TEACHING ASSISTANT
Step Into Teaching have partnered with an excellent Secondary School in Bradford, who are seeking Graduate Teaching Assistants.
We are seeking to appoint an excellent Teaching Assistant to work directly with a Teacher to support in all aspects of their work.
The Opportunity:
- School is based in Bradford
- Secondary School
- £450 - £470 Per Week
- 1:1 & Small Group work & in classroom support
- Full time role (Monday - Friday)
- April 2024 start
The ideal candidate must:
- Have a degree (2:2 or above)
- Be passionate about working with students and making a difference in their lives
- Be enthusiastic, friendly and approachable
- Have strong communication skills
- Be reflective & creative within the classroom
- Be able to build strong working relationships with children with various needs
Key responsibilities within the role include:
- Adapt materials to suit individual students with either specific or general learning needs.
- Implement agreed learning activities/teaching programmes using strategies in liaison with the Teacher, to support pupils to achieve learning goals.
- Support an English Teacher, including planning, preparation, the delivery of teaching and learning, classroom management and assessment.
