As a PGCE post compulsory graduate, I was looking for a new route moving from Further Education into Secondary Education. All I can say is that I am glad that I took the leap and decided to join with Step into Teaching. The Step Into Teaching Programme provides fantastic opportunities for graduates to ‘earn as you learn' – Yes, that means you earn a salary while you gain experience working in an actual classroom!
On top of earning money, you will get personal development opportunities and learn transferable skills. Teach a subject you are enthusiastic about and lead from the front. Benefit from teaching as part of an experienced team (delivery of focus intervention groups) and on your own.

To take your first Step Into Teaching you will need to be able to offer the following:
A can-do attitude, passion, enthusiasm and energy is a must!
A degree(for secondary ideally in your chosen subject)
Grade 4 (C) or above in English & Maths GCSEs
Grade 4 (C) or above in GCSE Science if choosing primary
