Step Into Teaching are working with a wonderful primary school in Shropshire who are looking for a Graduate with a passion to inspire children and help them by supporting across KS1 & KS2 with children of all abilities and join their team ASAP for the remainder of the academic year.

This is an ideal opportunity for any graduate who is interested in starting a career in teaching/education. This is your chance to experience the craft of the classroom before committing to a teacher training programme in the future.

The Primary Teaching Assistant opportunity:

• Primary school based in Shropshire
• Full time – Monday – Friday
• Starting ASAP for the remainder of the academic year
• £450 - £490 per week - term time only
• Your chance to gain real classroom experience

The Primary Teaching Assistant must:

• Hold a degree (2:2 or above)
• Experience working with children or young adults (desired)
• Self-motivated and flexible due to working across different levels
• A vision for creating an exceptional place of learning
• The ability to assist in evaluating individual pupils needs and progress
• Excellent communication skills
• Have the ability to build strong working relationships with a wide range of individual students
